Case binding, journals and periodicals Reference paperbacks can be case bound into hard binding, if required incorporating the original cover into the case. Journals and periodicals are an important resource in many libraries and whilst some are required for a relatively short time, it is essential that many are kept for future reference. Journal binding in linen, or durable washable buckram, will protect these journals yet keep them accessible. Often article need to be photocopied, our sturdy binding allows the book to be opened flat for copying purposes. On request 'records' of the styles our clients have chosen are kept; this enables the same, blocking pattern, coloured cloth and other important details, to be available at a later date, so we can match bindings. Even if journals have previously been bound elsewhere, given a pattern volume, we can provide you with a close facsimile. |
